Vision and Mission Statements
The vision of the Nevada State Science Teachers Association (NSSTA) is to be a leader in promoting equitable access to a high-quality science education to ensure that all students in Nevada are scientifically and technologically literate, responsible, and productive citizens.
NSSTA supports both formal and informal science educators throughout the state of Nevada by providing opportunities for professional learning, collaboration, and networking to promote high quality, standards-aligned science instruction for all students in Nevada. NSSTA advocates for equitable access to high quality, standards-aligned science instruction for all Nevada students by fostering collaboration between educators, community members, and state entities.
